Shards of Glass
With a flick of your wrist and a murmur, you conjure a swirling vortex of spectral glass shards in a 5-foot cube at a point you choose within range. The air within the cube churns with the force of a tempest, filled with razor-sharp edges that slice through anything entering the space.
When you cast the spell, and as a bonus action on your turns thereafter, you can direct the maelstrom to move up to 10 feet in any direction. Any creature that starts its turn within the maelstrom or that enters it for the first time on a turn takes 4d4 slashing damage.
This spell creates a lethal zone of cutting winds and spectral shards, ideal for controlling the battlefield and punishing foes who dare to cross its path.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 2nd.
